PLAYTEST - WAVE TWO

Wave Two of the KYBER Beta Playtest is now available to 1,000 newly selected play testers. If you have been selected to participate you will have received a role and a ping on our Discord with instructions on how to get started.

Over 8,000 people have already applied to participate in this playtest - nearly 50% of all the applications occurred in just two weeks - so if you didn't get accepted in this wave, don't worry, there will be more!

On New Years Eve, to celebrate the beginning of a new era for STAR WARS Battlefront II on PC, 64 members of our community gathered together to take a group photo on Crait - the location of our first ever group event all the way back in 2021 with KYBER V1.

Additionally, a new version of Battlefront Plus V10 is now available on KYBER. Simply join an official KYBER server to begin the automatic installation process.

Gameplay

Reinforcements
• Increased battlepoint costs for numerous characters.

Vehicles
• Ski Speeder is free.
• Increased battlepoint costs for starfighters and AT-STs.

Heroes
• Removed the voiceline wheel (ideally temporarily) in an attempt to see if mid-game crashes will be reduced.
• Reduced the duration for which saber attacks are blocked after jumping and made it no longer affect abilities.

Cal Kestis:
• Altered the Done Hiding passive to directly reduce a portion of your recharge times (like how the Infiltrator's Desperation works) as opposed to speeding up cooldown speed temporarily.
Stim Potency card takes the place of Stim Frequency, increasing the healing gained from using Stim. Then Path Forward replaces the Survivor card, increasing the strength of Done Hiding when using the double-bladed stance.

Din Djarin:
• Added a very, very small explosion to the Amban Phase-Pulse Blaster just so that it can knock jetpacks out of the air.

Merrin:
• Increased recharge time of Fireball.

Padme:
• Each activation of Overcharge will reset the blaster's heat.

Second Sister:
• Cunning Slash has a different animation depending on whether the single-bladed or double-bladed stance is toggled.

Yoda:
• Lightsaber attack speed is increased and Unleashed can be used while mid-air.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed the issue with 2 random portraits becoming invisible at the frontend.
• Fixed Anakin's Retribution.
• Fixed Han's Shoulder Charge.
• Fixed the Y-Wing being free on Tatooine Galactic Assault.
