Welcome to Wave Three of the KYBER V2 Beta Playtest
We’re thrilled to announce the arrival of Wave Three of the KYBER V2 Beta Playtest. A new group of players has been selected to join the front lines, and notifications have been sent via the official KYBER Discord. If you’ve been selected, follow the onboarding instructions to gear up and dive straight into battle.
As part of this wave, players will have access to our curated Vanilla+ modpack, tailor-made for KYBER servers and not compatible with Frosty Mod Manager. This pack delivers a carefully tuned experience while preserving the spirit of STAR WARS Battlefront II's gameplay.
New Content & Features
With our new Vanilla (base-game) dedicated servers, players can dive into the action they remember from the glory days of STAR WARS Battlefront II, with a hand-curated selection of bug fixes, minor tweaks, and quality of life mods sprinkled on top to complement the experience.
Leading the way with many highly requested changes since the game's live service ended is the brand new Vanilla Plus mod by Jediexe & P0TAT0_Bio. Also included are Mophead's Instant Online Improvements, Dyvinia's BetterCrosshairs, Szaby59's Enhanced Scoreboards & Indicators, and Zatomos' No Holograms Remastered.
KYBER servers benefit from carefully coordinated community moderation. Cheaters are quickly banned, and reports of all types of unwanted behaviour are taken seriously. If you have anything to report, please reach out to our ModMail channel on the official KYBER Discord. (Integrated reporting is a WIP and will arrive in a future update.)

Personal Stats Tracking
Recently, we added a WIP feature preview that allows you to view your gameplay stats in the KYBER Launcher. Stats tracking is now available for official EA PC servers and official KYBER servers to members of the Beta Playtest, with complete tracking data that dates back to the launch of STAR WARS Battlefront II.
The Stats Page is updated with new data at the end of every completed game and, for EA PC servers, includes all of your current and historical career stats.

The Stats Page is a work-in-progress feature which will gradually receive updates as we move closer to the official launch of KYBER V2.

ANAKIN SKYWALKER
- The duration of damage reduction during HEROIC MIGHT has been increased.
FINN
- Fixed a bug that allowed Finn to buff allies indefinitely.
- Reduced damage reduction applied by BIG DEAL.
- Reduced the amount of bonus health applied to allies by BIG DEAL.
DARTH VADER
- Reduced the chance of players falling to the ground during FORCE CHOKE.
- Fixed an issue where choked enemies were not lifted into the air.
- Fixed a bug where players affected by FORCE CHOKE could no longer use their primary attack.
IDEN VERSIO
- Reduced damage of the TL-50's Alt Fire (150 > 120).
KYLO REN
- Kylo Ren can no longer be parried out of his FRENZY ability.
REINFORCEMENTS
FIRST ORDER JET TROOPER
- Reduced the explosive damage applied by the TRI-BARREL LAUNCHER.
CLONE COMMANDO
- Reduced the health-on-hit bonus applied to the Clone Command by BATTLE FOCUS.
VEHICLES
ENDOR SPEEDER
- Reduced the Endor Speeder's primary weapon damage.
- Reduced explosive damage caused by Endor Speeder's primary weapon.
AT-ST
- Reduced the AT-ST's primary weapon damage.
- Reduced explosive damage caused by AT-ST's primary weapon.
INFANTRY
HEAVY
- Reduced the damage caused by the T-21.
GENERAL FIXES
- Added a chat filter to keep the in-game chat free from unwelcome content.
- Fixed the hero/reinforcement/vehicle duplication glitch.
- Fixed Vader frame trapping.
- Removed high-ping movement blockers.
- All Star Cards are set to their maximum level.
Instant Online Improvements - IOI V6

CHANGES
- Removes connection message UI.
- Removes unlock restrictions.
- Allows new reinforcements/heroes to be spawned on.
- Adds AI pathfinding to every possible map and mode.
- Adds AI gamemode logic to Galactic Assault, Capital Supremacy, Strike, Extraction, Blast and HvsV.
- Decreases the size of the spawn screen character selection UI to make room for more characters.
- Sets up battle points and max count limitations of IAO Reinforcement and Hero mods for all primary MP modes.
- Expands scoreboard to show 64 players.
- Blocked off the ability to join EA servers through the main menu, to prevent users running gameplay mods from being banned.
- Removes HvsV player maximum capacity.
- Increased HvsV target score from 35 to 75.
- Added an option to "Restart" and "Quit" the game from the pause menu (Thanks Cade).

- Prevents in-game chat from being reset after every round.
- Removed default Autoplayers from Supremacy to make room for 64 player servers.
- Reduced the minimum players required to start to 2.
- Added Galactic Assault bot support. Bots can now capture command posts, place and diffuse bomb charges, hold down terminals, pick up and fire Ion Disruptors, shoot at Walkers/MTTs and shoot destructible objectives.
- Added Capital Supremacy bot support. Bots can now board transports and capture/destroy objectives inside the capital ships.
- Added Strike bot support. Bots can now place and diffuse bomb charges and carry package objectives to target locations.
- Added Extraction bot support. Bots can move or block the cart's movement.
- Added HvsV/Blast bot support. Bots will follow allied human players and attempt to stick with a squad.
No Holograms Remastered

CHANGES
- Replaces the spawn screen background with a live backdrop of the current map.
- Includes depth of field.
- The location of the spawn screen can change depending on the gamemode (i.e. if you are playing on Hoth in Capital Supremacy or Galactic Assault, the spawn screen will be outside; but if you are playing HvV, the spawn screen will be inside.)
- The location of the spawn screen moves to the capital ships if you are playing in the ships (doesn't apply to Capital Supremacy during the ship phases).
- Improves the UI and makes it a bit more transparent.
- Moves the camera farther from the selected character.
- The light rig differs from the one on the frontend, making it compatible with frontend mods.
- The end-of-round screens are also replaced, without affecting the frontend background.
HUD Improvements

- Added an indicator next to the Health Bar that displays how much Damage Reduction or Damage Multiplication you are receiving.
- Added an indicator next to the Player Status bar above ally and enemy units that displays how much Damage Reduction or Damage Multiplication they are receiving.
- Reverted hitmarkers to the version used in the STAR WARS Battlefront II Alpha.
- Improved crosshairs and indicators for numerous weapons and abilities.
Scoreboard
- Added a Death counter to the Scoreboard.
- Added a K/D ratio counter to the Scoreboard.
- Improved contrast between player rows on the Scoreboard.
- Added detailed location names. E.g. 'Jabba's Palace - Tatooine'.
- Added coloured Class icons for the four main unit types:
- Base Infantry: Grey icon
- Heroes: Red icon
- Reinforcements: Orange icon
- Vehicles: Blue icon
